At Golden, we track hours and attendance in multiple ways to make participant management smarter and easier:
Automatic Check-In with the Golden Mobile Apps
When participants sign up for opportunities using the Golden Mobile Apps and have location services enabled, we can automatically check them in when they arrive at your location onsite and check them out when they leave.
Check-In Kiosk
Organizers can use the Check-In Kiosk feature to check people in and out onsite. Participants who show up to an event without signing up on Golden can also be added by the Organizer through the Kiosk.
Manual Attendance Confirmation in the Dashboard
If you don't have the chance to use the Kiosk onsite, you can confirm participant attendance after the event in the Dashboard—either using the Overview tasks or directly on the Opportunity Detail Page.
Participant Self-Confirmation
If Organizers don't confirm or deny attendance after the event, we'll ask participants (via email or push notification if they use the Golden Volunteer App) to confirm whether they attended. If they confirm, their hours will be automatically added!
