Age Restrictions
The Golden Dashboard allows you to configure age considerations for each Opportunity. You can set these when creating a new Opportunity or edit existing Opportunities to add or remove them.
How it Works
Each Opportunity has its own age configuration settings. You'll find these on the Extras tab of the Opportunity creation process.
When you reach the Extras tab, you'll see age consideration options where you can:
- Require parental consent for minors - This option requires parental consent for participants under 18 years old
- Set age restrictions - This allows you to define minimum and maximum age requirements
Simply set your parameters, and the registration form will require that volunteers meet the age requirements before they can sign up.
Important: If you enable Background Checks or Motor Vehicle Records Checks for your Opportunity, the minimum age will be automatically set to 18 years old and cannot be changed.
Setting age restrictions will still work alongside Parental Consent requirements when needed. (See this resource for more about Parental Consent.)
