Golden makes it fast & easy to upload lists of your volunteers for various purposes. You can use a spreadsheet to add participants to a volunteer opportunity, or to add volunteers to custom groups! See below for a walkthrough of the various purposes:
To upload a list of volunteers to a custom Group:
The Groups feature allows you to target audiences and segment your participants in various ways. To upload volunteers to a group with a spreadsheet, navigate to the desired group and use the upload functionality.
Using a spreadsheet to register participants:
The dashboard makes it easy to manually register multiple participants for an opportunity. You can use a spreadsheet to quickly register your intended audience.
What you'll need in your spreadsheet:
In all cases, you will be asked to select the First name, Last name, and Email columns from the spreadsheet you are using, and this information will be imported for each user.
Important notes when registering participants via spreadsheet:
When you add participants to an opportunity using a spreadsheet, Golden is not collecting information that the creator of the opportunity may have requested, including waiver signatures, emergency contact information, parental consent, or background checks. Make sure you have this information collected through other means if required.
