Golden supports featuring an impact metric (footprint) in your white-labeled, branded Portal certificates! This allows you to recognize a metric that carries significance for your organization.
See below for an example of a certificate that features the "Flowers Planted" metric.
How do I get a footprint metric featured?
To highlight a footprint metric on certificates, you must meet the following requirements:
- Enterprise plan with Certificate add-on: The certificate feature must be enabled for your organization. If you'd like to inquire about subscribing to the Enterprise plan or adding the certificate feature, please contact your Client Success Manager.
- Branded Portal with footprints enabled: Your organization must have a Branded Portal configured in the portal theme to add this feature.
- Suggested Footprint created: The metric you want to feature must be entered as a Suggested Footprint for your organization. Once you've entered your Suggested Footprint, please contact support@goldenvolunteer.com to enable the configuration on your portal theme.
Adding the metric to opportunities:
After your Suggested Footprint has been created and configured, opportunities can be created with this metric, or you can edit an existing opportunity to include this metric. The footprint field is located in the Extras section of the opportunity creation/editing flow. Make sure to double-check the settings to see how you're collecting the data!
How the metric appears on certificates:
Once participants complete the volunteer opportunity and the data is collected, the featured metric will be visible on their certificate alongside their completed opportunities and hours of volunteer work.
How Do Volunteers Download the Certificate?
Volunteers can access their certificate by logging into their Golden account and selecting "Certificate" on the left panel.
