Create a more streamlined system for your Branded Kiosk with customized opportunities! This feature helps walk-in volunteers register only for available, displayed slots by hiding unavailable opportunities on the Branded Kiosk.
Let's walk through how to set up and launch the customized list of Today's Opportunities for your Kiosk.
Set Up the Customized Kiosk List
- Open the check-in kiosk on the device that will be used for check-in.
- Once opened, navigate to the Customize Today's View button.
- After you click the Customize Today's View button, you will be asked to create or enter a PIN. The PIN is a security measure that ensures volunteers cannot make any accidental changes to the list you've created, while also giving you the flexibility to make changes without having to navigate back to the dashboard.
- First-time setup: If you haven't created a PIN yet, you'll be prompted to create a 6-digit Kiosk PIN. You can choose to skip this step by clicking Do Not Set Up PIN, or you can create one by clicking Create and Save PIN.
- Returning users: If you've already created a PIN, simply enter it to access the customization menu.
- Once the PIN is verified, you can select all of the time slots you'd like to display by clicking on each opportunity. Selected opportunities will show a checkmark icon.
- Use the Select All or Unselect All button at the top to quickly manage your selections.
- When you're ready, click the Show X Time Slots button (where X is the number of selected slots) to apply your changes.
The kiosk will then reload and display only your selected time slots. Volunteers can check in for pre-registered opportunities or register on-the-fly for the displayed opportunities.
To change which time slots are visible, click Customize Today's View again and enter your PIN
