Golden Opportunities that have no location will, by default, be visible to anyone who is using Golden. However there might be some instances where you might want your Opportunity to show only to volunteers that are close to a certain address.
That's where our Audience Geography feature will come into play! Virtual Opportunities will have the option for you to enter an address or coordinates to the location from which you want to recruit volunteers. Once you enter a physical location, the Opportunity will filter out for volunteers who are distant (depends on volunteer filters, but never more than 100 miles away).
Some examples of Opportunities where the Audience Geography would be helpful are:
- Virtual orientations/applications
- Donation drives
- Helpline roles that require local knowledge
- Many more!
