Golden uses Stripe to securely process payments and donations. To start collecting funds, you’ll need to set up and verify your organization’s Stripe account.
How to Navigate to Payments
- Go to Settings in your Golden dashboard.
- Select Donations.
How to Create a Stripe Account
- Click Create Stripe Account.
- Fill in your phone number and email address, then click Submit.
Verify your login using the verification code sent to your device. - When prompted, select your Business Type.
Enter Your Organization’s Details
- Legal Business Name
- EIN Number
- Business Address
- Business Phone Number
- Business Website
Enter Your Personal Verification Details
- Legal Name
- Email Address
- Job Title
- Date of Birth
- Home Address
- Phone Number
- Last 4 digits of Social Security Number
Enter Bank Information and Public Details
- Select the bank account where payments will be deposited.
- Add your public details for customers. These will appear on payment statements, invoices, and receipts.
What You’ll See
Once submitted, Stripe will verify your details. After approval, your account will be active, and you can begin receiving payments and donations directly through Golden.
