Participant Ratings & Reflections
After completing an Opportunity, Participants have the option to submit a Rating and/or Reflection.
What Participants Can Submit:
- Ratings: 1-5 stars
- Reflections: Written feedback and/or photos
How Participants Submit Ratings & Reflections:
After completing an Opportunity, Participants will automatically receive an email prompting them to submit a Rating and Reflection. Participants are not required to submit these—it's completely optional!
Participants can enter their Rating or Reflection by:
- Clicking the link in the email they receive and following the instructions, OR
- Logging into the Volunteer Portal and navigating to My Opportunities → Completed Opportunities
- For Organizations with Branded Portals:
[your custom URL]/registrations/filter/complete - For all other Organizations:

Are Ratings and Reflections made public?
No. Participant Ratings and Reflections are submitted to you (and to their companies, if applicable). They're designed to help you collect feedback on your programs and are not made available to the general public.
Which Participant submitted each Rating/Reflection?
Ratings and Reflections are anonymous to encourage honest feedback. If you'd like to know which Participant submitted a specific Reflection, you can encourage them to include their name in the comments.
NOTE: If you receive Reflections with inappropriate comments—including harassment, profanity, threats, or other inappropriate content—please contact support@goldenvolunteer.com. This type of behavior has no place in our community.
