What notifications do volunteers receive automatically?
A volunteer will receive these automated e-mails when they sign-up for a Golden Opportunity:
- Sign Up Confirmation - A sign up confirmation e-mail will be sent to you along with additional details from the organizer!
- Cancellation Confirmation - An email will be automatically sent to you if you cancel.
- Opportunity Time Change - Automatically get notified when the organizer changes the time of the Opportunity.
- Opportunity Location Change - Automatically get notified when the organizer changes the location of the Opportunity.
- Opportunity Cancellation - Automatically get notified when the organizer cancels the Opportunity.
- Day-Before Reminder Email - A reminder email is sent to you letting you know that you are signed up for tomorrow's Opportunity!
- Reminder to Log Hours (for certain virtual opportunities that require it by organizer's choice) - If you are signed up for a Virtual Opportunity, you are automatically reminded to input hours you have have completed at the organizer's discretion.
- Confirm Attendance ( Two days after if organizer or geolocation hasn't noted it yet ) - If the organizer has not confirmed your attendance, please indicate that you were at the Opportunity!
- Waitlisted Notification - If there is not enough room, we will put you on a waitlist if someone else cancels.
- Background Check Confirmation/ Failure/ Pending notifications - Receive updates based on the status of your background check.
