Team Member Permissions
At Golden, you can customize the level of permissions each team member has within your organization. There are five different permission levels, each with varying access to features and functionality in the platform.
Permission Levels Overview
Golden offers the following permission levels (listed from highest to lowest access):
- Owner - The highest level of permission, typically held by the person who created the Golden account for the organization
- Admin - Full administrative access to manage users and settings
- Writer - Can create and edit content with data export capabilities
- Reader - View-only access to organization information
- Opportunity Manager - Specialized role for managing specific opportunities (available with specific feature access)
Owner Permissions
Owners have the highest level of permission settings in Golden. They are typically the first person who created the Golden account for the organization.
Navigation & Features Access:
- ✅ Overview page
- ✅ All Opportunities features (view, create, edit, manage)
- ✅ Credentials management (if enabled for your organization)
- ✅ Participants management
- ✅ Insights and analytics
- ✅ My Network features
- ✅ All Settings pages including billing and integrations
User Management:
- ✅ Invite new users to the organization
- ✅ Change any user's permission level (except for other Owners)
- ✅ Remove users from the organization (except for other Owners)
- ✅ Transfer ownership to another user
- ✅ Resend invitation emails to pending users
Data Management:
- ✅ Export data from opportunities, participants, and insights
- ✅ View and download all reports
Organization Settings:
- ✅ Modify organization profile and branding
- ✅ Configure integrations with external systems
- ✅ Manage billing and subscription
- ✅ Configure web tools and portal settings
- ✅ Access outbox and communication tools
Admin Permissions
Admins have extensive access to manage the organization but cannot transfer ownership.

- ✅ All Opportunities features (view, create, edit, manage)

Data Management:
- ✅ Export data from opportunities, participants, and insights
- ✅ View and download reports
Organization Settings:
- ❌ Cannot modify organization settings
- ❌ Cannot access billing or integrations
Reader Permissions
Readers have view-only access to organization information.

- ✅ View all opportunities
- ❌ Cannot create or edit opportunities
- ✅ View participants

Opportunity Manager Permissions
The Opportunity Manager role is a specialized permission level that may be available for your organization. This role is designed for team members who need to manage specific opportunities without full Writer access.
