Why Are My Hours Not Showing Up?
At Golden, we have measures in place to ensure that volunteer hour reporting is as accurate as possible. There are a few cases in which we will suppress hours from being included in totals:
- Individual Registration Hour Limit: We will not report hours for a single registration that are greater than your organization's hours limit (default is 36 hours per registration). In most cases, completed hours greater than this value are a mistake and will distort your totals. If your organization needs a custom limit, reach out to your Client Strategist or email us at support@goldenvolunteer.com. Please note that we recommend keeping registrations at no more than 24 hours for optimal data accuracy.
- Recently Updated Hours: If you've just updated hour totals, it can take up to 24 hours for the changes to reflect in your reports, though it's often much faster than this. If this delay is causing issues, reach out to us at support@goldenvolunteer.com and we'll help you out!
If neither of these apply and you still feel that you're missing hours, here are some recommendations:
- If you're on a paid plan, check the Participant Profile of the volunteer in question and review their completed hours at the bottom of the profile.
- If you're on a paid plan, try using the Insights Export to see if any of the reported hours show a Registered status. If so, you can identify the Opportunity and Timeslot information needed to adjust the status to Completed as needed.
- If you're not on a paid plan, we recommend using the Opportunity tab and the Insights tab to examine the Opportunities that might have missing hours, then visit the registration page for those opportunities.
