What notifications do organizers receive automatically?
As you know, volunteers automatically receive a variety of important notifications when they register for your Opportunities.
But there are some notifications that organizers receive too!
- We've Approved Your Opportunity - When you submit an "Open" Opportunity on Golden, our editorial team runs a quick review to ensure that there are no typos, photos are looking good, etc.
- Volunteer "Sign Up" - A volunteer signs up for your upcoming Opportunity
- Volunteer "Cancellation" - A volunteer has a conflict and cancels their spot for your upcoming Opportunity
- "Who's Coming" - The day of your Opportunity, at 6 am (in your respective time zone), we will send you an Attendance Sheet of who is signed up and expected to volunteer. This email includes:
- Every registered volunteer
- Contact info
- Emergency contact info
- Team name and Champion (if relevant!)
- A link to the Check-in Kiosk
- Note: in your Settings menu, you can choose to have an additional email sent the day before the opportunity's Start Time (see image below).
- Confirm Your Attendees - If attendees were not otherwise checked in (automatically via the mobile apps or using the Kiosk), we remind you that you may need to confirm (or deny!) whether they attended your Opportunity.
- Missing Hours - Did you create a Flexible Opportunity and set a reminder for your volunteers to log their hours? If they don't do so, we'll send you an email letting you know.
Many of these can be turned on / off in your Settings .
